Biography

Andrea Bencini (Florence, April 20, 1990) is a data scientist and artist with a background in statistics and a research thesis focused on graph selection in high-dimensional spaces.

Origins and education

His path weaves together the analysis of complex systems, artificial intelligence, and reflections on the structures of space and time.

Research and work as a data scientist

Throughout his career, he has worked as a data scientist across diverse fields, from transportation engineering to finance and healthcare, investigating hidden relationships between variables and complex systems and translating them into mathematical and visual models.

This cross-disciplinary experience now informs his artistic practice, where data becomes form.

Geometries and Loop Quantum Gravity

In his recent work, he explores emerging geometries inspired by Loop Quantum Gravity.

Poetics

His poetics arise from a suspended space, where forms exist only as vibrations of possibility.

From this uncertain territory, artworks surface, allowing code to reveal a single form among many. It is the movement of creation itself, where each idea exists as potential until something calls it into presence.

Thus, the image becomes the place where the possible concentrates, gathers courage, and finally appears.

A group exhibition bringing together artists of different languages and research practices, united by an interest in interior, emotional and perceptual dimensions.
